Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is most commonly known for cleaning skin cuts
and scrapes. This is one important aspect, in fact, of how and why H2O2
works wonders when given as an I.V. infusion. It is the body’s ability to
internally manufacture it’s own hydrogen peroxide that is the mainstay of
our immune system. Before we explore that statement further, let’s
understand what the body does with the H2O2 that is introduced
intravenously. The human body (especially the blood stream) is full of
various enzymes (specialized proteins) that metabolize, breakdown and/
or neutralize chemicals and drugs. The enzyme called catalase attaches itself to
the H2O2 and breaks it down into water (H2O) and oxygen (O2). This
process is extremely beneficial to human tissues as it rehydrates and
internally increases the oxygen flow to tissues. In breathing (pulmonary)
problems, there is diminished ability to maintain adequate oxygen levels
in the bloodstream and therefore in the tissues and the tissues become
damaged and function poorly. This low oxygen level will leave one
feeling sluggish, weak and unable to perform normal activities. With
H2O2 infusion, there is no need to struggle to breathe in more oxygen or
use oxygen therapy. The oxygen is being produced within the bloodstream as
the H2O2 is introduced intravenously. Then as the blood with its extra
oxygen flows back through the lungs, the deprived, poorly functioning lung
tissue becomes revitalized and begins to expel debris and old secretions
that blocked the lower airways and further contributed to the low oxygen
uptake by the lungs despite attempts to take deeper & more rapid
breaths. Now back to the immune system. When invaded by
infectious organisms, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi or toxins the
body attempts to rid itself of these disease-causing invaders by sending
white blood (immunity) cells to the area where the invasion is noted.
In that area, these cells will gather some water (H2O) & oxygen (02) from
the surrounding tissues and merge them together to form hydrogen peroxide
(H2O2). The organisms are then bathed in the H2O2 and are killed.
Why? Because the none of the invasive organisms have the catalase enzyme
to breakdown the hydrogen peroxide and it is therefore toxic to them. That’s
how our immune systems operate. Not only are the organisms starting to be
killed off, but the production of H2O2 by the body itself is like an alarm going
off and causes the body to began producing more immunity cells to help fight
off the invasion. When we then introduce H2O2 intravenously, we not
only rehydrate and reoxygenate the tissues, but also kill off unwanted organisms
that may be harbored in the body. Beyond that, we stimulate the immune
system to start producing more and more immunity cells. What a
remarkable treatment! There are numerous diseases and disorders that
are effective and safely treated by hydrogen peroxide I.V. therapy without the
use of harsh drugs or chemicals to attempt to achieve the same results. We
are simply mimicking and amplifying what the body does for itself
naturally.
